Thermoplastic
Most important roles of Injection Molding Machines are:
[1] CONSTANT plasticizing heat profile, CONSTANT material viscosity
[2] CONSTANT time, CONSTANT filling
[3] CONSTANT Time, CONSTANT holding
Designed on three principles, the Sodick Plustech achieves perfect harmony of
critical plasticizing, and injection functions. These principles are the
cornerstone of the V-LINE Two-Stage Plunger design.
By satisfying these principles the Sodick Plustech machines became a value
added solution.
Sodick Plustech Thermoplastic Injection Molding Machine
Ultra-Precision Repeatability
Utlizing a proprietary Liear Motor driven servo-valve with the two-stage plunger system
Sodick Plustech can achieve "EXACT DOSING" every shot.
Difficult Material (LCP, PC, Ultem, PEEK, PPS...)
Unlike a conventional reciprocating screw using a check ring, Sodick Plustech
separates plasticizing function from injection to achieve extremenly consistent raw
material plasticizing and injection.
Thin-Wall Application - High Response Injection
Sodick Plustech developed the plunger system to achieve super-high speeds and
pressure (Max. 1500mm/sec, 49,700psi). It takes as little as 0.007 sec to reach
1500mm/sec and 0.007sec to drop back to 0. One of the most important keys to be
successful in critical molding is extremely high response. Quick deceleration is the
biggest benefit from our low mass (low inertia) ultra-precision control.
Increased Regrind Ratio / Reduced Mold Cleaning Cycle
Reduced degradation of plastic melt and reduced opportunity for contamination
during processing allows for higher regrind-to-vergin material utilization ratios
and reduced mold cleaning cycles.
