Navigating Product Development in the Face of Supply Chain Uncertainty
With tooling supply chain issues and shortages complicating product development, it can be discouraging to even get started with the product development process. Fortify is tackling these problems head-on with quick-turn injection molding services and HTS (high temperature & strength) 3D printed resin, an alternative to PEEK, Ultem, and other high-performance plastics.
Tune into this webinar to learn how you can get functional prototypes in your end-use material - including engineering-grade and high-performance materials - without breaking the bank. We will highlight case studies and showcase different geometries and the capability to mold complex features, threads, textures, and customized parts at no additional cost. One specific use case we will highlight is how iterative design can be implemented with molded parts. Lastly, we will talk about HTS, Fortify’s answer to PEEK, and other high-performance plastics for direct 3D printing of functional end-use parts.
Watch this webinar and learn more about:
Injection molding services with Fortify enable functional testing with parts in hand in 10 days or less
Solutions to iterative design with a process that traditionally doesn’t iterate quickly
How to leverage industrial 3D printing without purchasing the capital equipment required
A 3D printed solution for high-performance parts in a matter of days to replace traditional manufacturing
Our Guest Speaker
Ben is a Senior Applications Engineer at Fortify who leads the development of various applications including ESD and tooling. Ben joined the team fresh off his graduation from Wentworth where he earned his BSME. For the past four years he has immersed himself in all things injection molding, developing this application from the ground up; including everything from part design to processing mold tools. He continues to develop new applications with a customer first perspective as he focuses on the ESD and greater tooling market as a whole. Besides applications development, Ben has a strong interest in 3D printing as a whole where he enjoys engaging in both materials development and process work. In his spare time, he enjoys relaxing on the beach, snowboarding, traveling to new places, and keeping up with Boston sports.
