Liquid Silicone Rubber Basics
Course Overview
This webinar will provide an in-depth overview of injection molding with Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR). Our guest speaker Craig Lustek, Application Engineer with RDAbbott, will highlight the advantages of LSR and provide a comprehensive overview of the equipment, tooling, and optimal processes involved in Liquid Injection Molding Systems (LIMS).
Our Guest Speaker
Craig Lustek has more than 20 years of experience in process engineering, research and development, product management and manufacturing with suppliers of elastomers and processing equipment.
Before joining RDAbbott, Craig was an application engineer for one of the largest manufacturers of plastics injection molding machines (IMM). There he supported the setup and testing of new thermoset projects. He has also worked as a process engineer for LIMS for a global Japanese silicone supplier. In other ventures, Craig directed and supported process development systems for silicones, epoxy resins, and polyurethanes as a project manager. With his expertise in LSR, Craig is also a part-time instructor for silicone fabrication and technology.
As an application engineer for RDAbbott, Craig shares his in-depth knowledge of LIMS through developing technical resources and procedures, defining optimal IMM processes and setups, consulting with customers, and training key personnel.
